Sitting in the lounge of my period property I can picture a set of interior shutters in front of the bay window. For some time now I`ve been toying with the idea of having shutters fitted as I think they`d suit the style of our property perfectly. White wooden shutters would look amazing the only thing I`m not sure about is what style I should opt for. Full height options are available and these look amazing but I`m thinking that tier on tier options might be more flexible. With this option you can leave the top part of the interior shutters open if you like and close the bottom section so you have a little privacy. Thinking about it this would be brilliant because you can still let light into the room but also add a sense of seclusion at the same time. Other shutter styles are available such as café options that only fill the lower half of the window and it all depends on the setting as to which shutters are chosen. When I sit in my lounge I look at the bay window and I can see a set of the interior shutters looking right at home in their new setting.

Sometimes during the day it`s nice to have a little privacy whilst still having plenty of light in the room. In this instance I could close the lower section of the tier on tier shutters and leave the top part open. It`ll certainly be an investment if I buy the wooden shutters because I`ll expect them to last for quite a few years. Maintenance-free options would be pretty handy because they wouldn`t need any attention and they`d still look stunning in the years to come.
